Lyrics from the Past, Music of the present
I found these lyrics from about 30 years ago while cleaning out my parents' old house. So, I remembered a bit of the music, but I never finished it. So, I just finished it! It was inspired one night when I was cooking and looking through the spice cabinet when I saw a jar that said "Rosemary Leaves" and I thought - wow, what if I'd been living with a girl named "Rosemary" and she left - and now I have this constant reminder. How's that gonna make me feel. Then the song wrote itself. Rosemary Leaves

Thanks, Richard - I'll do a mix with more prominent drums and see how it feels. I'm sometimes a little shy with drums because I don't like them to sound too mechanical. I'm doing separate cymbal tracks now, so it's not as predictable. Cymbals seem to be vanishing from modern music, but they sure add a nice accent once in a while.

Great guitar work and vocals with clever lyrics and use of title. This song really rocks like shades of the Kinks! I think more prominent drums to match the power of the electric guitars would be a great addition to this rocker!
