The Joy of Taking One's Time
I wrote this song a little every night for several months, which is unusual for me. I used to write pretty fast. But I've finally realized that the first thing that comes out of my head is not always the best thing. Every night I would make little tweaks and changes. I don't know if it shows, but I sure like what I came up with. Hope you like it, too. This song is a metaphor for letting go of the false stories you might tell yourself about your past. I’m eager to hear your song, Tom. I always take my time with songs because there’s nothing to be gained from rushing out a product before it’s perfected. Serve no wine before it’s time!
