A New Song About an Old Subject
Hey everybody, This song's kind of a marathon (almost 7 minutes!) so get comfortable. It starts off with some gentle finger style guitar, which I then sing over, and the band comes in about half way and it transforms to a completely different song. I'm not even sure if it works, but that's how it came out. It's about the road of life and love that we all travel, and how good it is to have a great travel partner. As always, thanks for listening. Tom’s versatility and sensitivity shines through once again. I hear some McCartney style vocals and a nice classical music kind of Blackbird influence on the guitar playing. I love the optimism and serenity of the lyrics. I’d like to hear the band come in a little sooner but that’s a minor point. I’ve added this to my station: Richard Scotti’s Love Festival.
