Thank you!

Thank you to the folks who voted for me! It was a thrill to win a Golden Kayak for my song “Sweet Angelica” in the Classic Rock category. Equally exciting was winning an award for my song “Show All Your Love” in the Country category. My wife is the one who urged me to enter the song in the country category. I was really surprised when I won. Thanks again to all who voted and to all the station managers who support my work. I’ve been going through a rough patch lately and these awards really lifted my spirits. Thank you, Scott for being so happy to say our names with a glee you just can’t hide!

Thank you, Brigitte and Norm! I only manage three stations but I'm proud of of how listeners have responded to them over the years. I admire managers like you guys who have multiple popular stations and I see how much work goes into it. I hope to create more stations in the near future. These are the three that I have: RICHARD SCOTTI'S LOVE FESTIVAL INSTRUMENTALLY YOURS UNDER THE COVERS

@Norm - my wife introduced me to two tv shows that have had a big influence on me: Austin City Limits and Songs of the Mountains. We both watch them regularly now. @Scott - the blend of the vocals with the music is a very subjective thing in a mix. The Stones, Coldplay and U2 all keep the vocals restrained in comparison to the music while other artists keep the vocals way out front. There’s no right or wrong way to do it imo. Different vox for different folks! .

Congratulations Richard. There's always room for you on my stations. Your wife is knowledgeable when it comes to your music. Always trust her with that. Norm.
