Welcome back, Rob, yes, Bob D. , in his youth, would trudge through New Jersey swamplands to visit Woody Guthrie in a hospital laid up with with Hodgkins, or was it Hutchinsons's, when Woody, such a grand Americana singer/musician/author was all but forgotten. Ever hear "Doe re-mi", done by Dylan and the Band, I think it was? Bob brought the folk/Americana into rock'n roll, and added a whole new dimension with bold etc etc

Thanks Steve Always a wordsmith (poet) often a commentator on our lives. Dylan is still always relevant. many of his songs are reflected in some of the artists here like you Steve April also Richard Scotti and Duane Flock. This was when he broke the rules and went to a new level of Rock. Nice one.

Yeah your right there there never was no crossroads it,s all in your head. What path you decide to take this day. Sometimes leads to a career that lasts 60 years if your lucky

Yes, true there Paul. There have been occasions when Dylan made many people wonder about his "ethics," but overall spanning 5 decades or so making music, maybe 6 decades, gee, cannot think of another person who represents "dignity" and "integrity" in the music biz so well... Paul McCartney maybe... Happened to catch "Rolling Thunder Revue" by Martin Scorcese last night, prob'ly the best film-maker , it was amazing.

So does anyone know where this crossroad is where you can sell your soul to the devil for fame and fortune. Bob knows where it is but he ain,t telling. Great song though

Man alive, does this guy say or what... I should curb my enthusiasm, but jeez, and most of this interview may have been back in the 80s, I dunno...deja vu all over again..
