Finally got Linux to work on my computer. I am not a huge fan of Windows 11. i see it as spyware. They have got a new feature? they are rolling out called Recall. Which takes a snapshot of everything your doing every 5 seconds or so. It is not your computer anymore. It is Microsofts you paid for it. Everything you do is tracked and sold on. Recall is not even secure hackers could steal everything. You would not even know until your details are being sold on the dark web. Then it is to late. Scary stuff. Linux is daunting at first especially if you have been using Windows or Mac OSX. I use Kubuntu music studio. Many music apps built in and there all free. I also use Reaper as my DAW which has a linux version. So you can use commercial apps What do you think am i just being paranoid

Nope, I think your spot on! Linus Torvalds {creator of the UNIX-Like Linux} did us all a favour when he began it as an Open Source Operating System --And with that being true for Apps Support and Apps creation, even on the smaller Linux OS kernel utilized by Android Smartphonesgives ==> Well, it gives us Indie & D.I.Y. Artistic types --who can't easily afford the Microsoft or Apple/Mac game -- It gives us a fighting chance to find non-corporate controlled creative tools & outlets for our dream of freedom of expression.....
