*****HOLLYWOOD ENDING*****
I got complaints about having a signed artist up. I NEVER put up popular stuff or most times people that are alive or have flourishing careers. I add a rare track to break it up.....count hits and to remember where my influences came from. I removed the bands that had a problem with it and being promoted. If anyone else feels that way speak up and off you go. I like to change it up and the number 1 thing I hate is add mes when you have not listened to the station and have nothing even remotely like what I play there...it really is insulting. PLEASE listen to the format and at least see if you fit it before spamming the station with adds. THE DOMINATION STATION-Angst, in contemporary connotative use, most often describes the intense frustration and other related emotions of teenagers and the mood of the music with which they identify. Punk rock, grunge, emo, and virtually any Alternative Rock dramatically combining elements of discord, melancholy and excitement may be said to assert angst. There is an obvious connection to this music and the various subjugation of its proponent youth or racial or sociopolitical minority subculture -WIKKED WHARTON

Can't go too deep on these hogwash complainers...hey..it's your F**kin station... play what you want..if they don't like it...they can go elsewhere. I don't get 'hung up' on the vernacular of 'indie' or whether someone has the 'lucky break' of being signed or semi-signed..or whatever..if I like it...it's goin on! One of my favorite artists is the under-rated Mick Ronson ..the guitar player who made Bowie famous..and I'll tell ya what: his music is so awesome, I wish that someone who controls his estate would (should) put some of his tunes on iac ...they would be all over my stations because his 'spirit' was 'indie' ..and while I'm on the subject...I cannot believe that no one except me and about 3 other stations noticed that Wayne Kramer from the MC5 showed up here! I can't think of anyone more deserving of an 'Indie' title and exposure more than Wayne Kramer: the driving force behind the Revolutionary sub-culture louder than F**k for the times than Him....and it really peeves me that all the people at iac don't even know who he is....doen't anybody know the f***in history of Rock?....Anyway W.W....break it up and Rock it Up...no matter what the 'definition' junkies whine about. Tom Waits showed up and I put his ghostly ramshackle creation on my station...("Hey ..whats he doin here? He's got a contract!...WAH WAH WAH)....Drinks on dah house! :)
