Not Yourself !
Hello again! I want to know which artists and songs you love here on the IAC. Anyone but yourselves! Why do you love them? I would love to know! The competition between Father and Hop ground to a halt and Richard honorably left so he could be together with Picky. Love is such a beautiful thing ! I think the competition might have been a mistake and most of you agreed (apart from Hop and Father obviously) as there were few people prepared to step forward and champion.Do you love just the music of your friends here,or do you love music by people you don't know? Either way,please let me know as i would love to listen! (not to heavy metal rock or rap though please!) Thankyou!

There are a lot of artists, beside myself, that I am interested in here. Outside of some of the ones already mentioned (Bob Elliott, Steve Ison, Hugh Hamilton, Conversation Suicide), I want to note a few of the lesser-known folks at the site (or those who have been keeping a lower profile as of late): Leo Lago -- Brazilian oddity Steve Morton -- psychedelic throwback Neil W. Young -- classic songwriting The Alexandria Kleztet -- klezmer/rock hybrid Vincenzo Ardillio -- 80's house/dance And, I'll probably add a few more before long.

"Dead Bee is very very funny but very very depressing too,i don't know why." I think it's their absurd level of talent combined with their absurd level of absurdity. Adam and Martin (aka Jim Otter and Vince Pie) have a whole slew of more serious projects which are all fantastic, although none of them are represented on this site. db is just their outlet for offensiveness and insanity. They make me smile.... and sometimes cringe. "Thankyou for your offer to deal with someone." Ha! It took me a moment to clue in to what you were referring to.... but I'm glad he's found love.... that's just what the world needs now. I'll refrain from dealing. Love always, Gremislav

Hello February. Nice topic! I have a station of my favorite IAC artists SO FAR that I refer to as "super songwriters." Here's the link: IAC Super Songwriters Songwriting is of great interest to me more so than other elements of artistry. This is a station that I have been taking my time putting together over the past two years. Once I hear a couple tunes by an artist that I really like, I take the time to listen to their entire set of songs. On this station, I have pulled together my favorite tunes by those artists who really knocked me over for one reason or another. A station like this could never do justice to all the great artists out there on IAC. I am doing my best (with limited Internet time!) to pull together as many as I can. Here's the bottom line: If I knew I was going to die tomorrow I would take one last listen to this station so I could die in peace :)

Hello The Man!I love that you've linked me to your favourite songs! I should have asked for that at the start of my thread !Vicious is a very song with a driving energy! Blind is very pretty.Project Charlie is such a beautiful song indeed! It has such a lovely atmosphere! The Bat Lenny song is mysterious and creative.Thankyou very much for your song choices !

He's very atmospheric and deep.I'm listening to The Same and its very good.Dead Bee is very very funny but very very depressing too,i don't know why.I know Bob music already and like it very much indeed! He's a fine songwriter!Thankyou for your offer to deal with someone.They have found love now it seems so a dealing is no longer necessary !

Here HERE to Jesse Adams -- I second that emotion! One of IAC's brightest & best! And by the time 2010 hits, he'll probably be the HEADLINER of the little IAC Woodstock that's being planned for an IDAHO venue by Cat Ize & Tommy Saddler & others.... Damn..... I want to list HUNDREDS of others, but like LARREE, rather than LIST ALL of my phavorites so far -- 'cause there's HUNDREDS more I haven't discovered as of yet --- the easiest thing for you to do -- is just LISTEN to PHLEGM PHAVORITES & PHIFTY PHLEGM PHAVORITES you'll get an EARFUL of GREAT IAC Artists!

As far as great artists: Jesse Adams is a diamond in the rough and destined to be the big success story of IAC. If he plays his cards right and keeps evolving, there's no stopping him. He's fearless and talented and is always coming up with something new just like the Beatles did when they were young. I think he's one of the most creative artists at IAC. He's not where he needs to be yet but he's getting there fast. Check out his music and see if you agree.

Larree's right (often). Other stations are the best way to discover tons of music. Some station owners put lots of time and effort into their stations and listening to others' stations is a great way to find stuff. They've already done the work for you. Here's a link to Larree's Choice Cuts. And one thing I discovered in playing the list of songs I suggested: They're all songs that I never could've written. So thanks to you Feb for making me think about it.

Hi February, This is a real pleasure and I hope that it turns into a great station. It's the dead of winter here, so many of these are quieter, more reflective tunes than I play during warmer weather. The songs I currently play regularly are: It's Alright Now by the late Sue Bundrick. From my blurb:
- A very, very pretty song by any measure. All the more touching to think of it as a message from beyond.

One of my favorites here is ... Alice Temple ... an alternative wonder .. A whole page full of beautiful music ... and sadly only one song plays ... but it's pretty darn good .. Vicious ... and here's another great Artist ... Dave Osti ... most of his stuff is a little heavier than this ... but I really like this one Blind ... and here is one of my All-time favs here as well ... The Great Indoors Until ... a real cool band ... Project Charlie Everybody Needs Something ... and here is one that should be getting a lot more love ... Bat Lenny ... All The Books I Never Read ... and so many, many, many more.... this place is a smorgasbord of wonderful music ...
