who is steering?
family? work? responsibility? fear? god? me? who is steering this ship...? have i lost direction? have i forgotten who i am? no wind in my sails... i am tired.

Hi Baby, you know I usually send songs to my family first & with this one I had to put in a prelude to say...I'm ok! I had been talking to so many mothers and everyone was saying how exhausted they were. Parenting and trying to keep some kind of order in the house was wearing me down too. I wrote the first 2 lines and a girlfriend called & said..oh yeah...I'm right with ya! So when I saw Shane write 'i am tired'...I felt the same. September's coming, my 3 kids will be in school all day...I'll get my own down time for the first time in 12 years...I'm feeling the joy :-) But I'll definitely check on the St. John's wort..... I want to get high

That is very nice Carolyn, Have you tried St Johns wort. It is a natural herbal supplement that can really help that down time. It has worked wonders for me. That light in his eye might just be a reflection of you. Nice words.
