I have a little dwarf bunny at home whom I hug when my sweetie isn't available. As for people hugs, I'm all for 'em! It's funny, I had an odd hug experience just today. I'm a buyer at a university bookstore and I had a vendor in today who had brought a kiosk he had made to display his wares. He's a nice, different kind of older gent, and when I told him he could bring it right in and set it up in the front lobby, he replied, "Do you hug?" Maybe he was being facetious, but I said, "Sure!" and these two grown men, both business professionals, had a hug right there in the middle of the store! I wish more people were like that. I think it's good for you.

You should try the hugging thing, might be good for you. I wouldn't recommend buying that. You'd be better off renting the movie Georgia with Jennifer Jason Leigh.
