No I didn't watch the Idol show to see what it was like with Beatle songs.
I also thought of burning my arm with a cigarette to see what that would be like but decided against it.

good one SRM Yeah it's bad CODE Good for you Duane ( no cig's I mean) Idol to me looks good (young people etc.) but when I'm in the other room while my wife watches it just sound bad no BA-AD!!

KK Yeah, I quit cold turkey 2 yrs ago after 30yrs. The band I was in said they didn't want me singing anymore because my voice was shot. That was enough motivation for me. Funny thing is, I listen to myself now and think I should have just shot myself in head. At least I can breathe better, taste things, and my clothes don't stink. You can really tell when someone has just had a cig! It's freakin' RANK. I have nothing against the contestants on Idol, they're just learning the biz. I just don't like the way the whole thing is put together, produced, ect. D.

I wonder what it would be like to burn my arm with a lighter? Hmm... Naw, I think it's safe to assume it'll be really bad. I haven't smoked for twenty years. Did you find it hard to quit, Duane?

It's 8:30 "left" coast time, and the wifey and my daughter are watching Idol right now. Smoking is bad for you............ I stopped smoking when my daughter took the lighter away from my grandson.
