I thank all of you who noticed. Scott hollered at me as did Mike, so that made me feel like I need to at least stay in the loop. I am now officially a porch frog ribbit, . . .ribbit.

hey Larree, just to be straight here, hope you know that Holworks is not our old political friend Holo Lukaloa, in case you didn't. ha ha I got a big announcement. I just spoke to Mark (Holworks) and he's going to start his page back up again. I expressed how we all wanted him back and he's going to putting up some new music soon~!

I feel bad because I am the one who brought the AI into the IMP mix. I totally get the arguments against it. And if I were one of the noobs who have never played an instrument or written a song before, claiming to be the next Prince, about to release the 400 songs I "wrote" this weekend, all disdain would be rightfully deserved. AI is a much different tool/toy in the hands of someone who has even a basic understanding of music composition and form. And in the hands of a seasoned pro... Hell, I think Bry is doing amazing work in Suno, and he is newer to the game than I. Re: Ethics. I make a point of heavily labeling my AI work. No one says I have to, but I definitely do want to. Transparency is important to me. I even created the Larree AI artist page to keep that experiment in the lab. Because it is an experiment. And like any good research scientist (not that I am a research scientist, but I do hang out at Caltech with the smart kids), I will gladly publish the results of my work and how I reached my musical conclusions. And one more thing... The music industry has never done a god damned bit of good for me, so I don't care if they shit their pants over AI. Peace! And come back, Holo! .

As creativity ebbs and flows, so does participation in these locales. I myself am an example.
