Don't blame Chinese
The Chinese people are hard working dedicated people. Do not blame Chinese for greedy lazy American and European day traders and businessmen selling out the general publiic with crappy products. ..of course that has nothing to do with the fact that I wouldn't buy most products manufactured in China for wally world, they're landfill fodder. fu

China lends the USA 2 Billion dollars a day. They may not have a perfect system but what does it say about our system that we have to borrow so much from them? And fortunately there is a country willing to lend to us. It's tragic, but without them we'd be in serious trouble. No other country seems eager to lend money to a country in a recession and that might be still headed for a depression.

The Chinese have given the world so much - pasta! writing! paper! and... uh... gunpowder? Well, I'm not so thankful for that one. But China has had one of the greatest civilizations on earth. And we're talking a country of a couple BILLION people. We can't just judge an entire race on their shoddy exports. We're the ones buying that c-r-a-p. What does that say about us?

Nothing upside down about China.. the melamine in baby milk powder is kind of hard to forget.... but that's not done by your regular citizen... it's a corporate management thing, much like the banking crisis that started in another very large country. I met some folk from mainland China, and they asked me where they could buy baby milk powder in Osaka. They don't trust their big makers either.

Well ... you did say it was the other side of the world ... so of course it's upside down. Don't make you better, only different.

This thread is wonderfully oblique and funny. I'll take an order of number 23 ... "General Wow"
