some tips and hints by Verity. Once you get your music uploaded at IndieMusicPeople, one of the first things you’ll notice is that you get a message (in your SHOUT box) telling you that a certain Station has added one of your songs.

Then the day will come when you think "I’d like to start a Station, looks like fun!"

Once you’ve clicked on “Create New Station” in your admin area, you’ll need to make some decisions. Do you want this to be a playlist of:

You may want to be interactive — ask for participation, requests, etc. People even have “parties” on their message boards!

Think up a name for your Station — add a description, maybe a picture or banner.

It’s easy to add songs: click the ‘add’ cross +, choose your Station and optionally write comments. Your Station may even appear in the Top Stations list!

You can be anonymous or add your own songs.

There’s much more you can do (like adding audio intros DJ-style) — so ask me if you need help or inspiration.
