House Rules and Additional Pipeline Guidelines
House Rules - The following terms and conditions shall apply to all Users:
Blogs about your life or creative writings are encouraged as well as music discussions, political discussions, and social commentary. Support, site issues, and site suggestions go on another forum — our dedicated support forum.
If a thread is moderated, this does not apply to your individual blog on your page, but rather whether or not it shows up on the front page or on the pipeline itself. The following areas are those which do not fall within the guidelines.
1. If you post a support topic, you will be told to move it to the support forum. If you continue to post support and site issues in the wrong forum, your blogs will be taken off the pipeline based on the discretion of the moderator.
2. Multiple new threads by one user — anybody starting three or more new threads, or two very similar threads in a short time span, will have their excessive threads removed from view.
3. Hit-and-run promo — applies to individuals who choose not to become part of the active community but just show up to drop a quick link or cut-and-paste message. This will be up to the discretion of the moderators.
4. Excessive boinking — if a thread keeps popping back up to the top without real exchanges with other people, it will be removed. This doesn’t refer to running posts discussing music but promotional threads. Active community members will get a little more leeway on this type of thing, but frequent self-boinking won't be permitted.
